This is a money saving tip that I have been using for years
that I learned from another baker. Make your own colored sugars for decorating cakes, cookies, candy, etc. Place about 1/2 cup granulated sugar into to a zip food storage bag and add a few drops of food coloring. Knead
and mix in bag until all sugar is coated. Add more coloring until desired color is achieved. If you want a
color other than the basic five, mix colors before adding
to sugar. Have fun baking!!! It is theraputic.!!!! Jacx |
